I am currently a PhD student in UW-Madison’s Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, where my studies focus on the intertwined relationships between heritage and memory, land, craft, and food.

I am an editor at Edge Effects. My writing has been featured in Kitchen Work journal, Feminist Food Journal, and Rose Books Reader.

Prior to returning to academia, I worked as a pastry baker. I have also worked in research support and in media.
